What Youll Own As one of our earliest engineering hires, youll own the technical foundation of the platform. This isnt a role where youll inherit someone elses architectureyoull help create it. Youll work directly with the founders to design and build systems that are secure, scalable, and built for long-term growth. Your work will include: Designing the platform architecture from first principlesBuilding production-grade backend services and APIsDeveloping scalable cloud-native applicationsDesigning distributed systems and data modelsBuilding secure authentication, authorization and consent frameworksCreating high-performance document ingestion pipelinesBuilding APIs and integrations with external healthcare systemsWorking closely with AI engineers to integrate intelligent workflowsEstablishing engineering standards, CI/CD, testing and DevOps practicesOptimizing reliability, scalability, observability and performanceReviewing code and maintaining engineering excellenceHelping shape the engineering culture as the team growsMost importantlyyoull spend the majority of your time designing and writing production code.
