About the role
Role Overview: You will be responsible for handling technical team and should have hands-on experience with virtualization concepts and cloud technologies such as Azure and AWS. Your role will involve troubleshooting skills on Windows Client OS and servers OS, along with good exposure to Networking and Storage concepts in Azure. You will also be involved in planning, developing, and configuring Azure Virtual desktop infrastructure using various Azure tools and design best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and design robust Azure AVD solutions aligned with client requirements, including network configuration, security policies, and user access management. - Provide technical guidance and expertise to project teams during AVD implementation and ongoing operations. - Monitor and troubleshoot AVD environments, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks or connectivity issues. - Analyze AVD usage patterns and identify areas for optimization to improve performance and cost efficiency. - Keep cloud environment secure and proactively prevent downtime. - Perform routine infrastructure analysis and evaluation on resource requirements necessary to maintain and/or improve SLAs. - Participate in rotating schedule and monthly maintenance activities like server patching. - Assist with special project work as needed. - Have good knowledge of Cloud technologies like Azure, AWS including resource groups, Vnets, and Storage accounts. - Possess excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to apply a highly logical and well-organized approach to the analysis and resolution of issues. Qualifications Required: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Technical team handling experience. - Hands-on experience on Azure virtual Desktops. - Good exposure to monitoring tools like Azure Insights / SCOM. - Good troubleshooting skills on Windows Client OS such as Windows 10 and Windows 11 and Windows servers OS. - Good exposure on Networking and Storage concepts in Azure. - Experience with VDI solutions like VMware Horizon and Citrix. - Good understanding of Azure Virtual desktop, Hostpools, Pooled AVD, personal AVD, and Remote apps. - Knowledge in determining associated security risks and mitigation techniques.
