Position: Infrastructure Ops Engineer - Teams/O365 Contract Duration: 6 months (CTH) Work Location: Bangalore, IN (Hybrid)

Responsibility:

We are seeking an experienced IT Engineer to support collaboration tools and enforce IT standards across the organization. This role involves advanced troubleshooting, documentation development, and escalation management, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft 365 technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Understand the purpose and functionality of deployed collaboration tools and the rationale behind their standardization.

Perform advanced troubleshooting using vendor documentation and industry best practices.

Serve as the final escalation point for IT policy enforcement and product-related issues.

Escalate unresolved incidents to vendors and ensure timely resolution.

Analyze user-reported issues to identify recurring patterns and systemic problems.

Develop comprehensive user guides and technical documentation for end users and helpdesk teams.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3–7 years of experience (based on grade level) administering:

Microsoft Teams : Meeting policies, app configurations, team governance

Microsoft SharePoint : Access controls, retention policies, site administration

Microsoft OneDrive : Sync troubleshooting and basic support

Hands-on experience with cross-tenant and cross-company migrations, particularly in M&A contexts.

Background in IT engineering or a relevant degree in MIS, Computer Science, or Business Administration with IT focus.

Familiarity with ITIL practices and ticketing platforms like ServiceNow.

Working knowledge of AzureAD/EntraID and hybrid cloud/on-prem infrastructure.

Understanding of Microsoft Exchange fundamentals.

Preferred Skills

Administration of Microsoft Teams Rooms

Experience with Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager

Proficiency in PowerShell scripting

Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API

Experience building solutions using PowerApps and Power Automate
