About the role
Strategic Staffing Solutions’ customer is a global semiconductor company focused on developing advanced electronic components and supporting sustainable manufacturing practices.
Since their Lipa site is growing, they are looking for a Senior EHS & Sustainability Engineer to lead environmental compliance, drive sustainability programs, and strengthen health and safety standards across the site.
What you will do:
Lead environmental and sustainability programs aligned with global EHS strategy
Work closely with global and regional EHS teams to roll out site-wide initiatives
Drive projects focused on waste reduction, energy use, emissions, and resource efficiency
Monitor EHS and sustainability data to identify risks and improvement areas
Ensure compliance with local regulations, permits, and internal standards
Support sustainability reporting and ESG-related activities
Coordinate internal and external audits, including regulatory inspections
Lead environmental risk assessments and corrective actions
Partner with manufacturing and engineering teams to embed sustainable practices
Deliver awareness programs to improve employee engagement in EHS topics
What you will need:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or similar
At least 5 years of experience in EHS, with focus on environmental compliance and sustainability
Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance systems
Experience working with global EHS teams or multinational environments
Background in sustainability reporting, ESG, or carbon reduction initiatives is a plus
Safety Officer 4 certification
Experience in manufacturing environments is preferred
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis tools
What you will get:
Salary: PHP 65,000 – 108,000
