About the role
Lead PLC Engineer- Applications Location: Hyderabad About Company Svaya Robotics is looking for Lead Applications Engineer/PLC Programmer . A motivated and skilled PLC Robot Programmer with 8-9 years of hands-on experience in programming, integration, and troubleshooting of PLC systems and industrial robots. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation solutions in manufacturing or industrial environments, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability. Job requirements: Program, test, and commission PLC systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.). Develop and optimize robotic programs for automation tasks such as pick-and-place, welding, material handling, and inspection. Design and implement HMI interfaces and control logic for automated systems. Troubleshoot PLC and robotic systems during integration and production phases. Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams on automation projects. Read and interpret electrical and control schematics. Support installation, commissioning, and post-installation service. Ensure systems are compliant with safety and industrial standards. Maintain documentation including logic diagrams, code versions, and system configurations. Key skills and experience: Strong understanding of ladder logic, function blocks, and structured text programming. Hands-on experience with industrial robots. Familiarity with industrial networks (Profibus, Profinet, EtherNet/IP, etc.). Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel for site installations and commissioning when needed. Qualification: Bachelor s degree in Electrical engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field. 8-9years of experience in PLC programming and robotics in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
