Job Role: Lead Offshore Project & Marine Engineering Location Pipavav, Gujarat Experience - 18+ Years Preferred Industry - Marine, Offshore, Shipbuilding, Oil & Gas Engineering About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Lead of Offshore & Marine Engineering / Delivery Manager to lead large-scale engineering delivery programs across Marine, Offshore, Shipbuilding, and Oil & Gas sectors. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams, delivering complex offshore projects, driving operational excellence, and building strong client relationships across global markets. This leadership role requires expertise in project execution, engineering management, stakeholder engagement, commercial oversight, and strategic business growth. Responsibility: End-to-End Engineering Delivery Leadership Lead complete delivery of offshore, marine, shipbuilding, and oil & gas engineering projects from planning through execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, quality, and safety compliance. Multidisciplinary Team Management Manage and mentor cross-functional engineering teams across Mechanical, Piping, Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Design disciplines for complex marine and offshore programs. Execution of Complex Offshore & Marine Projects Drive FEED, Basic Engineering, Detailed Engineering, Retrofit, Upgrade, Conversion, and Life Extension projects for offshore and marine assets. Program, Portfolio & Stakeholder Management Oversee multiple projects/programs across global regions while acting as the key interface with clients, shipyards, OEMs, contractors, and classification societies . Commercial & Business Growth Ownership Handle project budgets, cost control, forecasting, profitability, bid support, contract negotiations, and customer account growth for large engineering engagements. Technical Governance & Compliance Leadership Ensure engineering deliverables comply with standards, while providing technical direction on offshore vessels, rigs, marine systems, and drilling equipment. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering. Master's Degree in Engineering, Offshore Structures, Naval Architecture, or Project Management will be an advanatge. 18+ years of experience in Marine, Offshore, Shipbuilding, and Oil & Gas Engineering. Proven experience managing large multidisciplinary engineering teams. Strong exposure to offshore drilling rigs, marine vessels, shipbuilding, conversions, and retrofit projects. Expertise in project management, engineering delivery, stakeholder management, and commercial operations. Strong understanding of offshore regulations, classification requirements, and international engineering standards. PMP/IPM or equivalent Project Management certification is an added advantage.
