About the role
As a Data Analyst / BI Developer with 3-6 years of experience in Bangalore, your role will involve: Role Overview: You will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data from various sources, building ETL pipelines, and creating interactive dashboards using Tableau and Python. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will translate business requirements into analytical solutions while ensuring data accuracy and performance optimization. Key Responsibilities: - Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability. - Develop and maintain ETL pipelines for processing data from CSV files, flat files, and live databases. - Build, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data pipelines. - Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau for business operations and leadership reporting. - Utilize Python for data manipulation, automation, statistical analysis, and exploratory data analysis. - Perform trend analysis, forecasting, and KPI reporting to support business strategy. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. - Support data governance, documentation, and metadata management processes. - Troubleshoot data issues and identify opportunities for performance and process improvements. - Manage dashboard changes, enhancements, and periodic data refreshes. - Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in data analytics and recommend innovative solutions. Qualification Required: - Strong proficiency in Tableau for dashboard creation, calculations, data blending, and performance optimization. - Hands-on experience with Tableau Prep and advanced Tableau development. - Proficiency in Python for data analysis using Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, etc. - Strong hands-on experience in SQL including joins, window functions, and performance tuning. - Experience with relational databases like Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server, Teradata, etc. - Solid understanding of relational database management systems, data modeling, and normalization. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, macros, and advanced formulas. - Experience working in Agile methodology environments. Additional Company Details (if present): - Experience with Google Cloud or other cloud platforms is preferred. - Knowledge of Google Looker Studio and ETL tools like DataIQ is desired. - Basic understanding of UI/UX tools such as Figma is an added advantage. - Manufacturing domain experience is a plus (not mandatory).
