About the role
As a Senior Data Scientist at our company, your primary responsibilities will include: Designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML products and services based on customer needs. Designing data pipelines to ensure smooth flow of data. Continually developing your capability to align with current demand and technology/business roadmaps. Reviewing and integrating all application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operations. Continually improving technologies used by the team to deliver high-quality products and services. Implementing all application requirements and ensuring adherence to functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operations standards. Working closely with Product Owners and Architects to develop data science products and pipelines in Modern Data Platforms. Providing guidance and assistance on technical issues to the team. Demonstrating knowledge and proficiency in handling unstructured, semi-structured, and structured data effectively. Required skills for this role include: 3+ years of experience as a data scientist. Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, Applied Statistics, AI/ML, or a relevant specialization. Knowledge of cloud data engineering and Big Data services in Azure, AWS, or GCP. Proficiency in Python and SQL. Ability to analyze data, build models, and deploy them into production environments. Expertise in GenAI, LLMs, RAG, NLP, and deep learning architectures. Familiarity with ML stack tools such as scikit-learn, Tensorflow, and Keras. Proficiency in MLOps, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native deployments in Snowflake, AWS, Azure, or GCP. Experience in fine-tuning models to improve accuracy rates. Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Desire to work in a performance-based environment. Preferred skills that would be beneficial for this role include: Knowledge of Computer Vision and Image processing techniques. Understanding of Snowflake Cortex, Cortex AI Features, and Snowpark Container.
