Manager Advanced Analytics and Insights

Role Overview: As a Manager Advanced Analytics and Insights at Synchrony, you will be part of the Collections & Recovery Analytics team, supporting Collections, Recovery, and Servicing solutions. Your role will involve designing and delivering Tableau reporting solutions to provide actionable insights and data-driven decision support across various operations. By leveraging advanced analytics, you will help leaders proactively manage performance, optimize operations, and improve business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with stakeholders across Customer Service, Customer Solutions, Fraud, Collections & Recovery organization to gather and refine requirements for BI or analytics solutions. - Act as the primary liaison between Operations users and development teams, managing communications and leading resolution of open items. - Design and build multi-layer Tableau dashboards and self-service analytics to communicate operational performance effectively. - Perform governance responsibilities to ensure consistency and accuracy of BI products; identify continuous improvement opportunities. - Develop scalable BI or analytical solutions based on business requirements. - Translate business needs and technical constraints for both technical and non-technical audiences. - Deliver functional data research, report generation, and analytical assistance as needed. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in STEM related fields with a minimum of 4+ years of experience in analytics; OR 6+ years of experience in analytics without a degree. - Hands-on experience in SQL/SAS and data visualization tools like Tableau. - Proficiency in Python for statistical analysis, forecasting, and data mining. - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
