About the role
Job Description: As an experienced Network Engineer L3, your role will involve designing, implementing, optimizing, and supporting enterprise network and security infrastructure across complex multi-site environments. You will be expected to have deep expertise in routing, switching, network security, SD-WAN, and network automation technologies, along with strong troubleshooting and stakeholder management capabilities. Key Responsibilities: - Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, proxy solutions, load balancers, and network security platforms. - Manage and optimize LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, and hybrid network environments to ensure high availability and performance. - Monitor network performance, utilization, and capacity, proactively identifying bottlenecks and recommending improvements. - Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex network, security, and connectivity issues. - Implement and maintain network security controls, including firewall policies, VPN connectivity, intrusion prevention systems, proxy solutions, and secure access technologies. - Support network lifecycle management activities, including upgrades, migrations, patching, and technology refresh initiatives. - Collaborate with security, cloud, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure seamless integration of enterprise services. - Participate in network architecture reviews and contribute to infrastructure modernization and transformation programs. - Create and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, operational procedures, and knowledge repositories. - Act as an escalation point for critical incidents and provide technical guidance to L1/L2 engineers. Qualifications Required: - Strong hands-on experience in Enterprise Routing & Switching technologies. - Expertise in LAN/WAN architecture, network segmentation, QoS, and traffic optimization. - Experience with SD-WAN technologies and enterprise network transformation initiatives. - Strong knowledge of Cisco technologies including Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE). - Experience with network security technologies including Firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, Proxy Servers, and Secure Access solutions. - Hands-on experience with F5 Load Balancers (LTM/GTM) and application delivery technologies. - Experience with Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), or similar cloud security platforms. - Strong understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VLANs, STP, DNS, DHCP, and Network Access Control. - Excellent troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root cause analysis skills. - Strong client-facing communication, stakeholder management, and technical documentation skills.
