About the role
Role Overview: As a Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator at Syneos Health, you will play a crucial role in supporting training initiatives and administering the Learning Management System to ensure employees can access, navigate, complete, and document training activities. Your responsibilities will include supporting, implementing, and maintaining the learning platform and assets. You will work with various stakeholders to gather system requirements and ensure that LMS materials meet the needs of end-users. Additionally, you will identify trends, resolve LMS functionality issues, make recommendations for process improvements, and provide quality control for new training activity assignments. Key Responsibilities: - Research and resolve LMS functionality issues - Make recommendations for process and utilization improvements - Assist in developing, administering, and maintaining learning activities, events, assessments, evaluations, completions, certifications, users, and roles in the LMS - Identify technical bugs and system issues, resolving or escalating them as appropriate - Provide immediate response to problems and emergency situations affecting normal operations - Consult with and advise training and development specialists on the structure and formatting of entries in the LMS - Provide reports to support business and quality audits - Work closely with external vendors to ensure efficient functionality of resources Qualification Required: - B.A/B.S degree in information technology, business, human resources related field, or equivalent education and experience - Prior LMS experience preferred - Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong customer service orientation - Basic knowledge of tools such as HTML, streaming audio, video, compression methods, file types, and formats - High level of problem-solving skills - Excellent organizational skills - Ability to interpret system needs and construct system processes - Ability to manage and meet deadlines - Knowledge of Web-based instruction - Knowledge of Learning Management System administration SumTotal and/or Cornerstone experience preferred Please note that tasks, duties, and responsibilities may not be exhaustive as the company may assign other tasks at its discretion.
