Job Summary:
Our client is looking for a MES Global Business Analyst. Needs to have senior level MES skills, with at least 1 Aveva project. Focus is more from the business side but needs to be able to interact with the technical team and will need some hands on Aveva experience.
This role supports a large-scale MES program across 26 sites, acting as a global business system owner with strong functional accountability for harmonizing manufacturing processes, shaping MES capabilities, and ensuring business alignment across implementations.
Responsibilities

Collect user requirements from sites and drive standardization and harmonization of MES-supported manufacturing processes

Support the definition of core MES data structures such as Master batch records, materials, resources, and master data

Review functional solution design proposed by the system integrator and escalate gaps, risks, or misalignment with business needs

Monitor and control solution definition across multiple parallel implementations to ensure consistency of core MES functions

Oversee UAT preparation and execution, ensuring test scenarios adequately cover critical manufacturing and compliance processes

Assess change impacts at site level, including process adoption, training needs, and local operational readiness

Production of project status reports and functional progress updates for MES deployments

Escalation management for process, design, and deployment issues affecting MES implementation

Coordination of cross-functional teams involved in MES design, testing, and rollout

Support global business activities related to manufacturing execution, electronic batch records, and process standardization

Support the global business application owner in functional maintenance, enhancement prioritization, and solution testing and governance

Required Qualifications
-
At least 5-7 years of experience in OT/IT projects within manufacturing, including significant exposure to MES implementation as a business representative or functional lead

Strong functional understanding of MES capabilities such as electronic batch records, recipe/workflow execution, material traceability, review by exception, and equipment status management

Experience translating site business needs into user requirements, process flows, and harmonized global solutions

Experience in GxP-regulated environments, ideally within pharmaceutical manufacturing
-
Good knowledge of pharma manufacturing processes, including batch execution, dispensing, weighing, and quality-related process controls

Experience working in Agile or hybrid project delivery models is preferred

Experience in MES implementation projects within regulated manufacturing environments, ideally in Pharma
-
Functional exposure to MES-related capabilities such as eBR, batch execution, material genealogy, deviation handling, review by exception, and integration with ERP/LIMS/warehouse systems

Experience with GxP documentation, validation support, and controlled deployment of digital manufacturing solutions

Ability to quickly understand and adopt new MES platforms and technologies

Musts:

Minimum of 5-7 years MES experience

At least 1 project on Aveva MES

Business Analyst experience, with enough technical expertise to interface with the technical team

Integration with SAP

Integration with the L2 layer (Scada, PLCs etc), so they can understand process flows

Experience with eBR, batch execution

UAT experience
