Job Title: Solution Architect Client: Ryan Specialty Division: RT Specialty Program: Broker Workbench Modernization Location: 100% Remote allowed
Position Overview: Ryan Specialty is seeking a hands‑on Solution Architect to support the RT Specialty division’s Broker Workbench modernization initiative. This role will play a critical part in redesigning and delivering a next‑generation solution that replaces legacy AIM and Titan applications by extending and integrating functionality directly into Insurity’s ConceptOne (C1) platform as well as the new platform being built by Intellect AI
The Solution Architect will act as the technical bridge between business stakeholders, business analysts, development partners, and integration teams. This individual will be deeply involved in requirements definition, solution design, system integration, and data migration strategy.
This role is ideal for someone who has grown out of a development background, understands enterprise architecture, and can confidently translate business needs into scalable, cloud‑based technical solutions—without being a hands‑on coder.
Required Skills & Qualifications: provide # of years and list anything lacking to qualify -> -Strong experience as a Solution Architect on enterprise‑scale platforms or system modernization initiatives
- Insurity's ConceptOne (C1) - experience with C1 as an administration system and/or integration platform (need insurity domain skills) -Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical architectures -Experience designing and supporting system integrations, APIs, and service‑based architectures
- Azure / Cloud Architecture experience required- Familiarity with cloud‑native and hybrid enterprise environments -Strong understanding of enterprise data flows
-Experience supporting or leading complex data migrations -Background in software development or engineering
- Comfortable with technical concepts , patterns, and implementation details (though not coding day‑to‑day) -Experience working with third‑party development vendors or offshore/onshore delivery partners
Key Responsibilities: Solution Architecture & Design: -Own end‑to‑end solution architecture for the Broker Workbench platform, ensuring replacement of AIM and Titan capabilities within ConceptOne. -Design technical solutions leveraging Insurity C1, Azure cloud services, and enterprise integration patterns. -Ensure solutions align with enterprise standards, security, scalability, and performance requirements.
Requirements Translation
- -Partner closely with Business Analysts and business stakeholders to define and refine functional requirements. -Translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical requirements, system workflows, and integration designs. -Guide requirements through technical design and into execution.
Platform & Integration Leadership -Design and define ConceptOne (C1) service calls and integrations with downstream and upstream systems. -Collaborate with integration teams to ensure required APIs, services, and interfaces are correctly designed and implemented. -Serve as the technical point of contact for Intellect AI, the primary development partner responsible for the underlying platform build.
Data & Migration Strategy -Lead and help drive the data migration strategy from legacy AIM systems into ConceptOne. -Work closely with data, analytics, and EDH teams to ensure proper data flow, mapping, transformation, and validation. -Ensure enterprise data standards are followed and data integrity is preserved.
Cross‑Team Collaboration -Act as a technical liaison across architecture, development, integration, data, and operations teams. -Provide architectural guidance, design reviews, and technical clarity throughout the lifecycle of the program. -Identify risks, dependencies, and technical constraints early and propose mitigation strategies.
