Job Description : Job Title: Senior QE Analyst Experience 5-10 Years Qualification BE / B. Tech / M. Tech - Computer Engineering Role & Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include: Supported SIT and UAT activities by analyzing business requirements, functional specifications, and technical design documents. Collaborated with testers, developers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, define test scenarios, and validate expected outcomes. Designed comprehensive test cases with full functional coverage and traceability to business requirements. Prepared test environments and managed test data to ensure successful execution of test cycles. Executed manual and automated test cases, documented results, and maintained test artifacts in test management tools. Validated reports, interfaces, data flows, and backend data using SQL to ensure data integrity and system accuracy. Logged, tracked, and managed defects through resolution, providing detailed evidence including logs, screenshots, traces, and root cause analysis. Delivered SIT/UAT status updates and contributed to test progress reporting and quality metrics. Developed and maintained Playwright-based UI and end-to-end automation scripts, leveraging logs, screenshots, and trace viewer for debugging. Applied modern Quality Engineering practices, including AI-assisted tools (GitHub Copilot), reusable automation frameworks, Page Object Model (POM), shared test data, and continuous learning of emerging testing technologies. Qualifications 5-8 years of experience in software testing for complex enterprise applications, with a strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and testing methodologies. Experience in Banking and Financial Services domains, including AML, financial risk, compliance, sanctions screening, financial operations, and general ledger processes. Proficient in testing reports, interfaces, batch jobs, data migration, and application upgrade initiatives. Skilled in designing, executing, and maintaining manual and automated test cases, with an interest in AI-assisted testing and reusable automation frameworks. Hands-on experience with test management tools such as Jira (Xray/Zephyr) and ALM for test planning, execution, and defect tracking. Strong expertise in SQL-based data validation, ETL testing, data pipeline verification, and backend database validation. Experienced in API testing using Postman and SoapUI, along with Playwright for UI and end-to-end automation, including debugging with logs, screenshots, and trace viewer. Familiar with GitHub Copilot and similar AI-assisted tools for improving test design, automation script generation, and overall testing productivity. Knowledge of modern test automation concepts, including Page Object Model (POM), reusable test components, shared test data, and basic scripting with JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python. . Experienced in working with reporting and collaboration tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Confluence, SharePoint, and CI/CD platforms including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI while collaborating effectively with global, distributed teams.
