Key Responsibilities: - Analyze large patient datasets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies for informing clinical decision-making and enhancing patient outcomes. - Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to predict patient risk, optimize resource allocation, and personalize treatment plans. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand data needs and translate them into actionable analytics solutions. - Communicate analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences through clear visualizations and presentations. - Contribute to the development of data governance policies to ensure data quality, integrity, and security. - Evaluate solution effectiveness and iterate on models based on performance metrics and feedback. Qualification Required: - Demonstrated ability in applying statistical modeling and machine learning techniques in healthcare. - Experience in data mining, cleaning, and visualization using Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, Seaborn) or R. - Understanding of healthcare data standards like HL7 and FHIR, and working with electronic health records (EHRs). - Strong communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and presenting complex information. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. - Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving project requirements.
