Matillion ETL Lead

As a Senior Matillion ETL Lead, your role involves understanding both business and technical requirements to translate them into data integration designs and deliverables. You will collaborate with the Snowflake Architect to ensure that the solutions align with the EDW Data mart and Dimensional modeling ETL standards and guidelines. Your expertise will be crucial in developing data modeling and integration solutions based on Matillion within Snowflake data warehouses/databases platform. Key Responsibilities: - Possess 8 years of experience in implementing BI projects within a large-scale enterprise data warehouse environment, with a strong track record of successfully implementing Matillion with Snowflake. - Handle problem management and root cause analysis for recurring issues. - Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for Data models and ETL programs. - Design both Logical and Physical data models using Dimensional modeling techniques. - Develop and review ETL programs primarily using Matillion and Python. - Provide coaching and guidance to the technical team in ETL job development. - Focus on performance improvement and tuning of Matillion mappings. - Conduct technical reviews, data validation, and end-to-end testing of ETL Objects, along with source data analysis and profiling. - Create necessary documentation following the standards and update project documentation. - Collaborate with the deployment team for code migration across environments. - Address Production issues promptly and work on code fixes. - Exhibit strong teamwork skills along with excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Matillion and Snowflake. - Experience in data integration, ETL development, and data modeling. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
