Job Description IT Specialist job responsibilities: 1. Technical and Networking knowledge to propose solutions to user requirements 2. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues and/or respond to outages 3. Administration of Data bases, Networking, Hardware (Desktops, Laptops), Security Systems, Software Applications, Operating Systems, Enterprise Systems, Web Servers, Storage Devices, VPN s, Firewalls, Switches, Routers, Modems, and related infrastructure etc. to ensure continuous, uninterrupted and reliable operations 4. Test and perform upgrades and patches to installed operating systems and software 5. Monitor backups and plans for installed systems 6. Implement suitable recovery plans for every critical function 7. Ability to install, configure, maintain, upgrade, and support systems, networks, and software 8. To develop plans, schedules, and requirements for deployment of systems 9. Design and develop custom programs to aid in systems management 10.Monitor and ensure to prevent Information Security threats, alerts, and security vulnerabilities 11.Implement response plans for various types of threats and attacks 12.Create and maintain system documentation of processes, procedures, plans, and configurations 13.To maintain confidentiality and prevent leakage of data by defining suitable process across the organization 14.To coordinate/ manage with IT Support and development engineers in Regional Offices and with Vendors 15.IT strategy planning with system development plan and Infra structure investment planning as IT technologies view, etc. for 6 companies under APHQ region. 16.Network management, Risk assessment and mitigation, Budget management, Remote location Management, Project Management, Vendor Management and Leadership abilities 17.IT Infra – Servers, VMWare, Backup, DB, Network Switching & Routing and VPN 18.IT Security – Firewall, WAF, Web Filter, Proxy, DDOS, DLP and End point Security 19.IT Software – Software Development Knowledge IT Specialist job responsibilities: 1. Engineering Degree in IT/ Computer Science or related field 2. At least 1520 years of experience in managing IT environment in any large organizations, preferably on windows platform 3. Hardware, Networking experience and knowledge in Software Development 4. Experience in working with firewalls, Exchange Mail Servers etc. 5. Preferably CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNP) or with equivalent certification 6. Good communication skills both written and oral, particularly in communicating complex, technical issues clearly to non-technical parties
