Vice President Data Engineering and Architecture

As a VP - Data Architect at the B2B SaaS Product Company based in Delhi, your role will involve scaling highload dataheavy systems and leading Data Engineering teams in modern product environments. - Lead and manage a team of Data Engineers - Design highlevel and lowlevel scalable architectures - Drive the technical direction for dataheavy, highscale platforms Minimum 10 years of overall experience, including at least 6 years in Data Engineering. Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role. At least 7 years of handson coding experience in Java (highly preferred), Python, Node.js, and Go. Strong experience in technologies such as HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Hive, Kafka, Spark, Airflow, and Presto. Expertise in High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) of scalable architectures. Successfully led a team of at least 5 Data Engineers. Background in product companies focused on highscale, dataintensive projects. Maximum 15 years of experience; preference for candidates from Tier1 institutes and a stable work history of at least 3 years in each company, with the last 4 years in highgrowth product startups. Ideally, experience in setting up data architectures.
