Business Analyst (EDI) (US Healthcare domain mandatory only apply)

Role & responsibilities We are looking for Business Analyst (EDI) permanent position with MNC company, healthcare domain exposure for Pune/Bangalore/Hyderabad/Chennai/Greater Noida location (hybrid). Preferred candidate profile Mandatory Skills - EDI BA ( EDI, SQL, Payer, Claim, Claim Adjudication) Migration Business Analyst Solid healthcare domain expertise(min - 5 yrs) Advanced SQL skills claims adjudication and downstream integrations EDI transactions Role Focus: Migration Ownership, Requirement Strategy & CrossPlatform Alignment Role Overview As a Business Analyst for VPC, the resource will function as a senior requirements owner responsible for driving clarity, alignment, and traceability across a complex, multisystem migration program. This role requires strong technical acumen, deep healthcare domain knowledge, and the ability to independently own requirements from analysis through testing and stabilization. This is not a documentationonly role. BAs are expected to actively support testing, defect resolution, and migration decisionmaking. Key Responsibilities Migration & Requirement Leadership - Lead sourcetotarget requirement analysis across legacy and VPC platforms - Own and refine business and functional requirements, ensuring they are migrationready - Drive data mapping, transformation documentation, and behavioural gap analysis CrossTeam Alignment - Serve as the primary bridge between business, architecture, development, and QA - Validate requirement feasibility with vendor platforms and configurationdriven systems - Ensure requirements are testable, traceable, and aligned to migration phases Testing & Defect Support - Actively support SIT, UAT, and parallel testing - Define expected results for complex migration scenarios - Lead requirement clarification during defect triage and rootcause analysis Cutover & Stabilization Support - Support cutover readiness, mock runs, and golive activities - Document known gaps, risks, and workarounds - Assist with postgolive validation and stabilization Required Qualifications (MustHave for EL4 BA) - 6+ years of Business / Systems Analysis experience/role - Strong healthcare domain expertise (5 to 10 yrs) (claims preferred) - Advanced SQL skills for data analysis and validation - Experience supporting large migration or transformation programs - Strong experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, RTMs, and data mappings - Experience working in Agile delivery environments - Proven ability to work independently and lead requirement decisions Preferred / ValueAdd Skills - Experience with claims adjudication and downstream integrations - Experience with EDI transactions (837 / 834) - Experience supporting parallel testing and reconciliation - Strong documentation and communication skills - Scrum / Agile certification BA Expectation BAs are expected to own migration outcomes, not just gather requirements.
