The role requires strong expertise in payer operations (membership, billing, policy lifecycle) combined with advanced SQL-based data analysis to design, validate, and optimise commission models. The candidate will work closely with business, finance, and technology teams to translate complex commission structures (tiered, incentive-based, broker hierarchies) into scalable system-driven solutions. A key focus area will be accurate commission calculation, reconciliation, and audit readiness, ensuring zero leakage and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities - Gather and document requirements for broker commission models and business rules - Perform SQL-driven data analysis and validation for commission calculation and reconciliation - Define calculation logic, data mapping, and integration with payer systems (e.g., Facets, billing platforms) - Support testing (SIT/UAT), defect analysis, and production validation - Enable commission reporting, variance analysis, and audit support - Act as a liaison between business (broker ops/finance) and IT teams Core Skills & Expertise - Solid US healthcare payer domain knowledge (claims, membership, billing) - Hands-on SQL expertise (complex queries, data validation, reconciliation) - Experience with broker commission structures and financial workflows - Knowledge of EDI (834), policy lif .
