About the role
As a CAD Designer for BIW parts using CATIA V5, your role will involve designing and modeling upper and lower body parts. You will be responsible for managing Bill of Materials (BOM) and product structure in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software. Your key responsibilities will include: - Supporting design standards and carryover strategy - Participating in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) - Developing design concepts - Demonstrating expertise in sheet metal design - Resolving technical issues - Ensuring BOM quality In addition to the above, your qualifications should include: - Proficiency in CATIA V5 software - Experience in BIW part design - Strong understanding of sheet metal design principles - Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues - Knowledge of BOM management in PLM systems If any additional details about the company are included in the job description, please provide them.
