As an IT Network Engineer at Tata Electronics, your role is crucial in maintaining and supporting the organization's IT network infrastructure, encompassing LAN/WAN and data center environments. Your responsibilities include ensuring high availability, performance, and security of network systems while supporting plant-level operations and business continuity. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain and administer IT LAN/WAN infrastructure and data center environments. - Ensure network performance, availability, and uptime meet required KPIs and SLAs. - Provide plant-level network operations support. - Configure and install various network devices and services (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.). - Deploy and manage Wi-Fi access points, ensuring seamless connectivity. - Configure and support IP telephony systems (e.g., Polycom phones) as required. - Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, and hotfixes. - Implement and maintain security configurations to protect network infrastructure. - Monitor network performance, identify issues proactively, and troubleshoot network-related incidents and outages. - Ensure continuous improvement in network reliability and efficiency. - Support greenfield project activities, including network setup and deployment. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project implementation and support. Experience & Qualifications: - Experience: 35 years in IT network operations/support. - Exposure to manufacturing or plant-level network environments is preferred. - Relevant certifications (optional): CCNA / CCNP, Network+.
