Key Responsibilities: Translate customer requirements and emerging market trends into detailed technical specifications for electrified powertrain features. Oversee the design, development, and validation of propulsion systems, including: Energy management strategies Torque delivery mechanisms Drive mode functionalities Manage and mentor system engineers to derive system-level requirements from technical specifications and ensure alignment with overall vehicle architecture. Work closely with hardware, software, and vehicle integration teams to ensure cohesive system performance and compliance with regulatory standards. Maintain comprehensive documentation of system requirements, validation results, and technical decisions. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field. Proven experience in electrified powertrain systems development. Strong understanding of energy management, torque control, and drive mode strategies. Experience in managing engineering teams and system-level requirement derivation. Native German speaker or EU citizenship. German language proficiency at C1 level or higher (mandatory). Preferred Skills: Familiarity with automotive standards and safety regulations (ISO 26262, ASPICE). Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
