HIL CI Automation Engineer

As an HIL CI Automation Engineer in the automotive domain with 4-8 years of experience, your role will involve developing Python scripts for HIL CI automation processes, analyzing and implementing user stories, designing automation workflows, performing unit testing and validation, developing Windows-based applications using Python frameworks with database integration, integrating automation scripts into sandbox and CI environments, managing code merging in GitHub, providing production support for CI integration and deployments, setting up and debugging CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/GitHub, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in Agile environments. Key Responsibilities: - Develop Python scripts for HIL CI automation processes - Analyze and implement user stories based on requirements - Design automation workflows and review with stakeholders - Perform unit testing and validation of developed scripts - Develop Windows-based applications using Python frameworks with database integration - Integrate automation scripts into sandbox and CI environments - Manage code merging in GitHub (CR creation and review support) - Provide production support for CI integration and deployments - Set up and debug CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/GitHub - Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments Qualifications Required: - Solid Python development experience - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub / Jenkins) - Experience with cloud infrastructure and databases (SQL / MySQL / PostgreSQL) - Automotive domain knowledge with understanding of testing processes & automation workflows - Experience with REST APIs and Python libraries - Good understanding of Agile, V-Cycle, and CI/CD practices - Working knowledge of Jira and GitHub - Exposure to HIL systems (preferably dSPACE) - Experience in building Python-based UI applications - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills The company is seeking candidates with a Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automotive, Computer Science, or related engineering discipline.
