• Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Automation QA Engineer to join a high-performing team supporting enterprise applications for Scotiabank. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks across web applications, APIs, and system integrations while working within Agile delivery environments.

Job Description

• 5+ Years strong experience leading QA teams with expertise in defining test strategy, planning, and executing end-to-end quality assurance activities.

• Hands-on experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks for web, API, and integration testing using industry-standard automation tools.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, test automation, defect management, and Agile delivery methodologies.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to mentor QA team members and drive quality engineering best practices.

• Experience with Murex or other Capital Markets platforms is considered a strong asset but is not required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in banking or financial services environments.

• Exposure to cloud-based testing environments and modern DevOps practices.

• Familiarity with performance and integration testing tools.

• Location Requirement

• Must be able to work onsite in Toronto 3 days per week as part of the hybrid work model.

The pay range for this role is $8 0 ,000 to $8 5 ,000 CAD per annum (max) including any bonuses or variable pay.
