• Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team as a contractor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the DevOps team and overseeing the planninng, design, development, and deployment of software in collaboration with cross functional teams. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud computing, infrastructure as code, and DevOps practices, with specific expertise in Azure DevOps tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the DevOps team to ensure efficient and seamless operations.

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.

• Work closely with development teams to identify and implement automation opportunities.

• Manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, including Terraform and Ansible.

• Implement and manage Azure DevOps tools such as Azure Boards, Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, Azure Test Plans, and Azure Artifacts.

• Utilize AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) and ARO (Azure Red Hat OpenShift) for container orchestration.

• Implement and manage GitHub, Nexus repository, and ArgoCD for version control and continuous deployment.

• Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and participate in on call rotations.

• Continuously improve scalability and performance of our systems.

• Ensure system security through the use of best in class cloud security solutions.

• Collaborate with software engineers to understand software scalability and performance needs and ensure the necessary infrastructure is in place.

• Develop and maintain design and troubleshooting documentation.

• Mandatory Skills:

• Extensive experience with Azure DevOps tools and practices.

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD Pipeline design and implementation.

• Proficiency in managing infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.

• Experience with container orchestration using Azure Kubernetes Service and Red Hat OpenShift.

• Familiarity with GitHub, Nexus repository, and ArgoCD.

• Preferred Skills:

• Experience in cloud security best practices.

• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.

• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
