Role Summary

Worked as a Business Tester and Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the Securities Loan Collateral Management (LCM) domain, ensuring that business requirements were accurately implemented and validated across collateral management, securities lending, and settlement workflows. Collaborated closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and QA teams throughout the SDLC.

Key Responsibilities

Analyzed business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories related to Securities Lending and Collateral Management.

Participated in requirement workshops with business users, product owners, and development teams.

Prepared comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on business requirements.

Executed Functional Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression Testing.

Validated collateral lifecycle events including:

Collateral allocation

Margin calls

Substitution of collateral

Collateral valuation

Settlement processing

Verified end to end processing of securities lending transactions.

Performed reconciliation between upstream and downstream systems.

Identified, logged, tracked, and retested defects using defect management tools such as Jira or ALM.

Worked closely with developers to resolve production and UAT issues.

Conducted business validation to ensure regulatory and operational compliance.

Supported release activities including production verification and post implementation validation.

Prepared test execution reports, defect summaries, and business sign off documentation.

Assisted business users during UAT and provided SME support.
