About the role
Key Responsibilities Review and analyze business and functional requirements. Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans. Perform functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, and sanity testing. Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to resolve issues. Validate bug fixes and perform retesting. Ensure applications meet quality standards and user expectations. Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing progress to stakeholders. Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a quality perspective. Required Skills Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Experience in manual testing methodologies and techniques. Knowledge of defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla. Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and documentation abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience testing web, mobile, or desktop applications. Knowledge of SQL and database testing. ISTQB certification is a plus.
