• Job Summary

• Network Engineer ‿ L3 ‿ India (Pune and Hyd) (24x7 support Shift) with Work from office.

• Primary Skills: Â Networking concepts with NAC deployment experience, CCNA, CCNP.

• Experience: Â 7 to 10 years of total work experience.

• EtherChannel, HSRP/VRRP).

• Good Experience on WAN, Site to Site and remote access connectivity, routing protocols ( EIGRP, OSPF and BGP).

• Good Experience on Wireless controller based deployment, Optimization and Security standards (WPA3, 802.1X, RADIUS).

• Knowledge of Load Balancer, WAN Optimizer and security devices is an additional advantage.

• Familiarity with ITIL Framework concepts such as Incident, Change, and Problem Management.

• Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.

• Flexibility for long working hours and readiness to work in 24x7 rotational shifts and weekends.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication at all levels.

• Ability to work alone as an individual contributor and as a participant in a team environment.

• Good experience on LAN, Implementation of high availability, Advance switching (VLAN, STP)

• Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of dynamic routing

• protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, IS IS and BGP

• Responsible in Creating a wide range of technical documentation (HLD, LLD, Transitions phases, migration

• test plans, Migration Checklists, Risks and Impact analysis, LAN standards).

• Schedule and perform Changes (Standard/Normal/Emergency) to apply break fix and enhance Network

• Monitoring Network devices through monitoring tools and taking necessary action on reported alerts

• Follow up with Vendors to track and troubleshoot an issue and escalate with team for quick resolution

• Actively participating in P1 and P2 calls and troubleshooting issues and provides updates

• Acknowledge tickets in SNOW and working towards for their resolution by adhering SLAs

• Perform IOS upgrades (Firewall, Switches, Routers and NetScaler‿s).

• Working with Users/Customers to resolve their issues and calling them if required for further troubleshooting

• Troubleshoot Wireless and Access Point related issues

• Troubleshoot Firewall and Security related issues in co ordination with Infosec Engineering Team

• Handle Load balancer Deeper issues (Find out cause of the backend server flaps, cause of the application slowness)

• Certificate installation in NetScaler Load balancer in timely manner and coordinating with Web Solutions Team to solve their queries

• Maintain and Manage Network devices Inventory

• Co ordinating with Onshore Network Team to work and troubleshoot on Major Network issues

• Product knowledge:

• LAN: Cisco, Avaya, Extreme & Nortel switches

• WAN: Cisco, Juniper, Riverbed

• Load Balancer and DDI : F5, NetScaler and Infoblox

• WLAN : Cisco, Aruba

• Firewalls & Cisco : Fortinet, Juniper & Cisco
