Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer with 6–11 years of experience in designing, implementing, automating, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS cloud services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, Kubernetes, configuration management, and DevSecOps practices. The candidate should be passionate about automation, system reliability, security, and continuous improvement while supporting enterprise-scale applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage highly available, scalable, and secure AWS cloud infrastructure.
Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for application deployment using industry-standard DevOps tools.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK).
Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/OpenShift preferred).
Configure and maintain version control systems and branching strategies using Git.
Collaborate with Development, QA, Security, and Operations teams to streamline software delivery.
Monitor application and infrastructure performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure high availability.
Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions.
Ensure cloud environments comply with security, governance, and compliance standards.
Perform infrastructure upgrades, patch management, backup, and disaster recovery planning.
Optimize AWS infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Support release management, deployment automation, and environment management.
Participate in on-call production support and incident resolution.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
6–11 years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on DevOps and AWS expertise.
Experience building and managing enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines.
Strong knowledge of AWS architecture and cloud best practices.
Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters.
Strong Linux administration and scripting skills.
Excellent troubleshooting and performance optimization abilities.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Skills
AWS Certified Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or SysOps Administrator certification.
Experience with serverless architectures using AWS Lambda.
Knowledge of microservices architecture.
Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging platforms.
Familiarity with FinOps and AWS cost optimization.
Exposure to ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence.
Experience implementing GitOps using Argo CD or Flux.
Understanding of disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity planning.

Nice to Have
AWS Professional or Specialty Certifications.
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
HashiCorp Terraform Associate Certification.
Experience with AI-assisted DevOps tools and automation.
Exposure to multi-cloud environments (Azure or Google Cloud Platform).
