We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented System Administrator Server to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of Linux systems and will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and optimizing our server infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with up to two years of experience looking to advance their careers in system administration.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux based servers and applications.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.

• Implement security measures to safeguard server data and applications.

• Assist in the deployment of new server environments and upgrades.

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to support application deployment and maintenance.

• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference.

• Participate in on call rotation for after hours support as needed.

• Mandatory Skills

• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat).

• Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.

• Familiarity with shell scripting and automation tools.

• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues effectively.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM).

• Understanding of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).

• Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
