• Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Operations Engineer with a strong background in Terraform and cloud infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing our Azure cloud environment while implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices. This role requires collaboration with development, QA, and security teams to ensure seamless production deployments and adherence to security and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.

Manage Azure resources including VMs, App Services, AKS, Storage, Networking, and databases.

Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.

Design, develop, and maintain Terraform scripts for provisioning Azure infrastructure.

Implement reusable modules and enforce coding standards for IaC.

Automate infrastructure deployments and updates using Terraform.

Automation & DevOps:

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

Automate provisioning, scaling, backup, and recovery processes.

Integrate monitoring and alerting tools to enhance operational efficiency.

Monitoring & Performance Optimization.

Configure Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.

Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and optimize workloads.

Security & Compliance:

Implement Azure security best practices including RBAC, NSG, Key Vault, and Policies.

Ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

Collaboration

Work closely with development, QA, and security teams to support release cycles and production deployments.

Mandatory Skills

Strong hands on experience with Azure Computing.

Proven experience with Terraform (mandatory).

Experience in Azure Resource Manager concepts and Cloud Physics.

Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

Experience with scripting (PowerShell Scripting, Bash).

Understanding of Azure Networking.

Familiarity with Containers (Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Splunk).

Proficiency in Unix Shell Scripting.

The pay range for this role is $110,000- $125,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
