We are seeking a skilled SAP Basis Administrator with 5 7 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in SAP Basis Administration, ensuring the optimal performance, availability, and security of our SAP systems. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage complex SAP landscapes and provide technical support to various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain SAP systems, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.

• Implement and manage SAP transport management and system copies.

• Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning.

• Collaborate with development and functional teams to support system enhancements and integrations.

• Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices in SAP environments.

• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing.

• Provide technical support and guidance to end users and other IT teams.

• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends to recommend improvements.

• Mandatory Skills:

• Strong knowledge and hands on experience in SAP Basis Administration.

• Proficiency in SAP system installations, upgrades, and migrations.

• Experience with SAP HANA and database management (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).

• Familiarity with SAP transport management and system landscape management.

• Solid understanding of SAP security concepts and user administration.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.

• Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud based SAP solutions (e.g., SAP S/4HANA).

• Knowledge of automation tools for SAP Basis tasks.

• Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.

• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of SAP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate) are a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
