SAP BASIS Specialist

SAP BASIS Specialist Project context The SAP Basis Administrator will be a key member of our SAP BASIS team in Pune, India, responsible for handling BAU activities and managing our diverse SAP landscape. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of technical expertise administering SAP systems hosted in AWS or Azure, and have experience managing SAP on Linux as well as a good understanding of SAP HANA and SAP ASE (Sybase). Hands-on experience with SAP BTP and SAP Datasphere will be considered as a plus. Work Location : Koregaon Park, Pune Work model: Hybrid working (3 days / week in office) Work hours: work in shifts on rotational basis Goals and deliverables Handle BAU SAP Basis activities, like system copies (SAP Refreshes), system monitoring (availability, performance and capacity), troubleshooting, configurations, patchings, etc System performance analysis and tuning, HA/DR setup and monitoring Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues affecting our SAP systems or Satellite Apps, having the ability to navigate through different applications, databases and operating systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support SAP projects, including implementations, migrations, and upgrades. Perform system health checks, help define and enforce SAP security and all audit-related controls, capacity planning, and performance optimization. Apply support packages, kernel upgrades, and security patches. Document technical procedures, system configurations, and best practices.
