Power BI Pune Contract Onsite --- About the Role We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions using BI tools. The role involves translating business requirements to technical specifications, developing dashboards and reports, and collaborating with engineering and business teams. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to deliver high-quality reporting solutions and drive business growth. --- Key Responsibilities - Designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using BI tools like Looker, Power BI, Tableau, etc. - Developing dashboards, reports, and visualization using various charts like maps, scatter plots, gantts, bubbles, histograms, heat maps, funnel, and Highlight tables. - Translating business requirements to technical specifications. - Understanding data modeling, data schemas, and data sources that need to be integrated with the BI tools. - Developing and executing database queries and conducting data analysis. - Creating visualizations and reports for customers and performing quality assurance checks on reports. - Conducting unit testing and troubleshooting. - Creating and updating technical documentation. - Exploring and learning new techniques to solve business problems creatively. - Collaborating with engineering and business teams to build better and optimized reporting solutions. --- Requirements - Having over 4-6 years of experience with one of the reporting tools like Looker, AWS Quicksight, Power BI, Tableau, Business Objects, etc. - Having hands-on experience of writing SQL queries. - Designing, building, and deploying BI solutions. - Having a good understanding of data models and data warehouse design. - Having a good understanding of Excel, ETL, and other data visualization tools/platforms. - Having experience in BI Analysis & Cube languages (DAX, MDX). - Having experience with data visualization (Power BI, Tableau, Plotly, D3) technologies. - Having experience with user & role management and implementing row-level access policy. - Having hands-on experience with relational databases and creating Data Warehouses. --- Good to Have - Having an analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude. - Having experience working independently and strong analytical skills. - Having good communication skills. --- What We Offer - Opportunity to work with cloud platforms and products. - Chance to work with a team that values compassion for customers and humor for life. - Collaborative environment that encourages learning and growth.
