GBS AI Factory Lead - 8+yrs

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced GBS AI Factory Lead to establish, lead, and scale our AI Factory as a strategic capability within Global Business Services (GBS). This leadership role will drive the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade AI solutions, with a strong focus on Agentic AI , intelligent automation, and digital transformation. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong leadership capabilities to build high-performing engineering teams, define AI strategy, and deliver scalable AI solutions that create measurable business value across global operations. Key Responsibilities AI Strategy & Roadmap Define and execute the strategic roadmap for Agentic AI and AI-driven automation initiatives across Global Business Services. Align AI initiatives with business priorities, digital transformation goals, and enterprise strategy. Build and maintain a prioritized pipeline of AI use cases based on business value and ROI. AI Solution Delivery Lead the end-to-end delivery of AI solutions from ideation through production deployment. Ensure AI solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and production-ready. Oversee implementation, testing, deployment, and lifecycle management of AI applications. Technical Leadership & Architecture Provide technical leadership for AI solution architecture and engineering standards. Define best practices, governance frameworks, and development guidelines for AI implementations. Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, security policies, and IT standards. Drive adoption of modern cloud-based AI platforms and technologies (Azure preferred). Team Leadership Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing multidisciplinary AI Factory team comprising: Agentic AI Engineers Systems Integration Engineers AI Solution Architects ABAP Developers and Automation Engineers Foster an engineering culture focused on innovation, collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement. Innovation & Emerging Technologies Evaluate emerging AI technologies, including Agentic AI frameworks and intelligent workflow orchestration platforms. Lead proof-of-concepts (PoCs), experimentation, and technology evaluations to identify scalable enterprise solutions. Promote continuous innovation across AI capabilities. Stakeholder Management Collaborate closely with Business Leaders, Finance, Process Owners, IT, Digital, and Data teams. Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical AI solutions. Present AI strategy, progress, and business outcomes to senior leadership. Performance & Continuous Improvement Monitor AI solution performance, user adoption, business impact, and ROI. Drive continuous optimization and enhancement of deployed AI solutions. Measure automation effectiveness and identify opportunities for further transformation. Required Qualifications Education Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline. Experience 8 to 12 years of experience in software engineering, enterprise application development, or solution architecture. Proven experience leading technical teams and delivering complex enterprise-scale projects. Hands-on experience with AI, Machine Learning, Intelligent Automation, or Generative AI technologies. Experience working in global enterprise environments and digital transformation initiatives. Experience managing cross-functional engineering teams. Technical Skills Strong software architecture and enterprise solution design experience. Expertise in cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure preferred). Good understanding of: Agentic AI Generative AI Intelligent Automation AI Agents Workflow Orchestration Experience with modern software development frameworks and enterprise integration. Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and governance. Knowledge of AI deployment, scalability, security, and operational excellence. Strong project and program management capabilities.
