Job Summary As a Principal Consultant, you are more than an elite software engineer; you are a strategic technical advisor, a catalyst for modern engineering practices, and an architectural visionary. Job Requirements Hands-on Engineering Craftsmanship: Architect, design, and write high-quality, production-ready code across diverse paradigms (Frontend, Backend, and Platform) utilizing React, TypeScript, Go, Java Spring Boot, and Python. Emphasize clean code, Test-Driven Development (TDD/BDD), and robust CI/CD pipelines. AI-Augmented Development (Mandatory Practice): Actively integrate AI coding assistants (such as GitHub Copilot, Gemini Code Assist, Cursor, and custom LLM prompts) into your daily software development lifecycle. Leverage these tools to optimize coding throughput, automate test suite design, refactor legacy code bases, and accelerate architectural prototyping. Architectural Leadership: Design and implement highly resilient distributed systems, event-driven architectures, enterprise data pipelines, and agentic AI systems utilizing AWS, GCP , Kubernetes, and Terraform. Technical Discovery Pre-Sales: Partner with client-facing partners during the pre-sales cycle. Lead technical discovery workshops, evaluate client architectures, and draft compelling technical proposals and scoping documents for CTOs and Product Directors. Client Advisory Alignment: Build strong, trust-based relationships with direct stakeholders. E ectively translate complex architectural trade-o s into business-aligned outcomes, guiding clients through di icult technology selection processes. Enablement Mentorship: Actively pair with, coach, and upskill client-side engineers and internal junior consultants on modern software engineering practices, testing strategies, DevOps principles, and AI developer tooling. Delivery Excellence: Advocate for high-performing agile engineering practices, continuous integration, and infrastructure-as-code to elevate the clients overall release frequency and system reliability. Job Responsibilities Frontend Backend Ecosystems: Deep expertise in building scalable web applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js, Go, Java Spring Boot, and Python. Data Integration: Strong capability in designing schemas and querying with PostgreSQL and orchestrating data layers using GraphQL. Infrastructure Cloud: Hands-on mastery of multi-cloud architectures across AWS and GCP, including containerization with Docker, orchestration with Kubernetes, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) via Terraform. Architectural Paradigms: Proven experience architecting large-scale Distributed Systems, designing Event-Driven Architectures, building high-throughput Data pipelines, and implementing emerging Agentic Systems (AI agents). AI Modern Developer Tooling (Mandatory Capability) Advanced AI Assistant Integration: Demonstrated daily reliance on tools like GitHub Copilot, Gemini Code Assist, or Cursor to write code, debug, and generate unit and integration tests. Prompt Engineering for Developers: Advanced ability to craft custom developer LLM prompts for code refactoring, system architecture exploration, API specification generation, and rapid codebase onboarding. AI-Driven E iciency: Ability to demonstrate how AI-assisted workflows have directly improved your personal delivery velocity, test coverage, and documentation accuracy on previous projects.
