About the role
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced HPE NonStop (Tandem) Application Programmer & Network Engineer to provide L1 and L2 support for high-availability, mission-critical transaction processing systems on NonStop (NSK) platforms. The role spans application development, system support, and network engineering , ensuring fault-tolerant, secure, and high-performance systems. Job Qualifications 10-20 years of experience in HPE NonStop application development and networking Strong expertise in TAL, TACL, Pathway, Enscribe, FUP, and DEBUG Experience with TCP/IP and SSL/TLS on NonStop Solid problem-solving and analytical skills Experience supporting high-availability, mission-critical systems Job Responsibilities Provide L1/L2 support and maintain NonStop applications using TAL and Pathway/iTP Automate operational tasks and deployments using TACL scripting Manage and optimize Enscribe file structures and perform file utilities using FUP Configure and tune Pathway server classes, requestors, and Linkmon for performance and fault isolation Perform live and post-mortem debugging using DEBUG Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot TCP/IP and SSL/TLS for secure and reliable communication Ensure system reliability, performance, and fault tolerance through proactive monitoring and tuning Benefits Innovative Engineering: Collaborative, fail-fast, flat hierarchy.
