Sr. ServiceNow Architect

Position: Sr. ServiceNow Architect Experience: 13+ Years (Minimum 8 Years in ServiceNow) Location: Pune / Hyderabad / Bangalore, India Onboarding: Immediate or as per availability Job Type: Contract (6+ Months with Possible Extension) Work Mode: Hybrid – 3 Days Work from Office

We are looking for a highly experienced Sr. ServiceNow Architect to join a long-term contract engagement. This role is ideal for professionals with deep technical expertise in the ServiceNow platform and a strong background in architecting and integrating enterprise-grade IT solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of complex ServiceNow solutions across modules.

• Oversee custom application development and integrations using ServiceNow APIs.

• Define technical standards, guidelines, and best practices for scalable ServiceNow implementations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver aligned solutions.

• Ensure performance, scalability, and high availability of the platform.

• Guide junior developers and provide technical mentorship.

• Participate in Agile development sprints and contribute to continuous delivery pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 13+ years of overall experience , including 8+ years in ServiceNow .

• Strong system integration experience using web services and protocols (REST, SOAP, HTTP, XML, AJAX).

• Deep understanding of ServiceNow Suite: ITSM, ITOM, Performance Analytics, SecOps, SOAR , and platform capabilities.

• Proven experience in:

• Developing custom ServiceNow applications

• ServiceNow API usage

• JavaScript, AngularJS, Python

• LDAP/Active Directory integration

• Manual and automated testing of web-based applications

• Working in Agile teams and DevOps pipelines

• Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, IP networks).

• Desired Skills:

• Agile certifications and/or experience leading Agile initiatives (e.g., Scrum Master role).

• ServiceNow System Administrator Certification.

• Certified Implementation Specialist in one or more ServiceNow domains.

• Experience with advanced features like Virtual Agent, Agent Intelligence, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Orchestration.

• Exposure to cloud-native application development and deployment.
