Linux Azure Engineer

Linux Administration Azure Cloud Management Scripting knowledge General Linux System Administration Azure Cloud Management Good hands on in scripting Good troubleshooting skills Performance Expectations and Measurement: • Hire will be a part of ongoing operations work which involves administration, maintenance operations, support, upgradation / migration activities and managing the infrastructure. • Assist in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for environmental issues as they arise. • Proactively identify and communicate potential problems and issues to project team members/leaders. • Technical: Results oriented with ability to lead complex IT assignments. Ability to perform job tasks independently, with minimal supervision. May need to handle multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously, adjusting to change and continually aligning priorities to ensure the most important efforts to the company are completed. Broad IT knowledge and experience on the multiple IT solutions that could encompass the business partner's entire technical solution set (e.g. SAP, .Net, and custom systems). • Communicating technical information to customers, team members & peers • Strong flexibility and ability to thrive in dynamic environment. • Working under pressure in production environments running production customer workloads and services • Job Responsibilities include providing 24/7 remote support. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Any degree would do. Experience: 4–6 years in Linux, with a focus on Azure environments. Strong expertise in Azure VM and AKS management. Hands-on experience with Azure architecture design and support. Good understanding of Linux administration and troubleshooting. Familiarity with SAP infrastructure support is a plus. Skills and Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools. Certifications such as Microsoft Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, or Certified FinOps Practitioner are highly desirable.
