Data Analytics Analyst I

As a Data Analyst at our company, you will be responsible for performing general analytics and statistical modeling on existing data sets in various areas of the business such as Market Economics, Supply Chain, Marketing/Advertising, Financial Services, and Scientific Research. Your activities will include defining data requirements, data collection, processing, cleaning, analysis, modeling, and visualization. You will examine and identify data patterns and trends to help answer business questions and improve decision making. Additionally, you will provide inputs for complex Data Science and Big Data Mining projects, and identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of data analysis processes. Your role will involve working independently within set frames and following established standards. With a knowledge base typically acquired from a professional/university degree and approximately 1-2 years of practical professional experience in a specific area, you will develop your knowledge, share best practices, and devise relevant solutions. You are expected to continuously enhance day-to-day activities and processes. As a fully proficient Data Analyst, you may also act as a formal team leader for more junior co-workers and set day-to-day operational objectives. Your role is crucial in ensuring the success of data analytics projects and contributing to the overall efficiency of the business operations.
