Python Backend Developer

Job Summary Terralogic is looking for a passionate Python developer to join our engineering team in Bangalore. The candidate will be responsible for building scalable backend systems, automation solutions, and supporting DevOps initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Location: Bangalore Experience: 3+ years Work mode: Work from office (WFO) About the Role We are looking for a Python backend developer with 34 years of hands-on experience in building scalable backend applications and REST APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Python development using modern backend frameworks and relational databases. Note: This role is for backend Python development only . Candidates with primary experience in machine learning, data science, data engineering, or AI are not the right fit for this position. Mandatory skills: Strong hands-on experience in Python development Good understanding of OOP concepts, data structures, and algorithms Experience building REST APIs and backend services Familiarity with frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI Basic knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain robust Python-based applications Design and implement scalable APIs and backend services Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices Automate processes using scripting and tools Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance application performance Participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies Eligibility Experience: 34 years in backend Python development. Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days preferred. Candidates serving notice are encouraged to apply. Candidates should be comfortable working from the Bangalore office.
