SDET Playwright Automation Engineer

Hello All, Greetings from Tesslogs, We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong expertise in Playwright and TypeScript. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in building automation frameworks from scratch, developing scalable and maintainable test solutions, and implementing AI-enabled test automation. The candidate should possess strong programming skills, a quality-first mindset, and proven experience in designing enterprise-grade automation frameworks. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript.Build automation frameworks from scratch following industry best practices and design patterns.Develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable automation components.Automate UI, functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end test scenarios.Develop and execute API automation tests using Playwright and REST APIs.Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.).Implement Page Object Model (POM) and other framework design patterns.Work closely with Developers, Product Owners, and QA teams throughout the SDLC.Analyze automation failures, troubleshoot issues, and improve framework stability.Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing.Continuously optimize test execution and improve automation coverage.Mentor junior automation engineers and contribute to automation best practices. Mandatory Skills Strong hands-on experience as an SDET.Expert-level experience in Playwright with TypeScript.Proven hands-on experience in developing automation frameworks from scratch.Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in AI-enabled Playwright automation.Strong programming skills in TypeScript.Experience in API automation using REST APIs.Expertise in Page Object Model (POM) and automation framework architecture.Experience with Git and version control systems.Hands-on experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines.Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
