Performance Test Engineer

Job Title: Performance Test Engineer Employment Type: Contract Experience: 5+ Years Work Mode: Remote Contract Duration: Minimum 1-year project-based contract (extendable) Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Only About the Role We are seeking an experienced Performance Test Engineer to join our QA team on a contract basis for an upcoming long-term project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests to ensure enterprise applications meet performance, scalability, and reliability requirements. Key Responsibilities Design and implement performance testing strategies and test plans. Develop and execute performance test scripts. Perform load, stress, endurance, spike, and scalability testing. Analyze application performance and identify system bottlenecks. Conduct REST API performance testing. Monitor application performance and provide optimization recommendations. Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to resolve performance issues. Prepare detailed performance reports and recommendations. Participate in Agile development activities and release planning. Maintain reusable performance testing assets and documentation. Required Technical Skills JMeter LoadRunner Postman REST APIs Azure DevOps Jira Agile/Scrum Methodology Preferred Skills SQL Linux Grafana Prometheus Dynatrace AppDynamics CI/CD Pipelines Azure, AWS, or GCP Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in Performance Testing or Performance Engineering. Strong hands-on experience with JMeter and/or LoadRunner. Experience in enterprise web application and API performance testing. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within Agile teams
