Network Engineer

Basic Skills: Load Balancing: Working knowledge of F5 LTM/GTM, VIPRION, and application traffic management concepts including VIPs, pools, SNAT, and SSL/PKI. DNS/DHCP & Proxy: Experience with Infoblox DNS/DHCP, proxy technologies such as Zscaler or Bluecoat, and basic automation/scripting. Troubleshooting: Proficiency with diagnostic tools including Wireshark, tcpdump, traceroute, nslookup, and dig for network and application connectivity issues. Networking: Strong expertise in routing protocols including EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP, and switching technologies such as Cisco ACI, NX-OS, VLANs, VPC, HSRP/VRRP, Catalyst, ASR, and CSR. Security: Hands-on experience with enterprise firewalls, preferably Fortigate, with exposure to Checkpoint or Juniper advantageous. Monitoring & Tools: Experience with network monitoring and automation tools such as Spectrum, NetBrain, Observe, and Ansible. Strong years of experience in network operations or support within large enterprise environments. Proven ability to operate in 24x7 global support models with strong ownership and accountability. Solid understanding of ITIL processes including Incident, Change, and Problem Management, and tools such as ServiceNow. Strong foundation in enterprise networking concepts, infrastructure operations, and incident lifecycle management. Demonstrated experience supporting business-critical network services in a controlled enterprise environment.
