Senior Automation Engineer (Java & Selenium)

As a Senior Automation Engineer at Thoughtic Solutions for a 6+ months contract opportunity, your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks using Selenium & Java - Implementing and optimizing Page Object Model (POM) frameworks - Developing and executing automated test scripts for web applications and APIs - Performing backend testing and validating data integrity using SQL queries - Creating Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scenarios, and Test Schedules - Collaborating with developers, business analysts, and product owners - Integrating automation frameworks with JIRA for defect tracking and test management - Mentoring and training manual testers to transition into automation testing In order to excel in this role, you are required to have: - 8+ years of experience in Automation Testing - Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver and Java - Hands-on experience with POM Framework - Experience with TestNG or JUnit frameworks - API Automation testing using RestAssured / Karate / Postman - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git - Strong understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies Preferred skills for this position include: - Experience with Selenium Grid or cloud-based test execution platforms - Familiarity with JMeter or performance testing tools - US Healthcare domain experience If you are passionate about automation testing, framework development, and quality engineering, this role offers an excellent opportunity to work on enterprise-grade applications and modern testing ecosystems.
