About the role
Role: Application Security Analyst. Location:100%remote Duration: 12-month contract ONE AND DONE INTERVIEWS THIS WEEK! 3 Openings Job Description: • Evaluate and secure applications by building security into existing web applications. Responsible for maintaining/assisting application teams with secure development standards, working with development staff, and the application security team. • Understand how to identify, exploit, and remediate common application vulnerabilities through use of tools and code review • Provide education on security practices or methodologies to resolve vulnerabilities • Execute and monitor application security controls to protect the organization's applications from attack • Provide security feedback for application development teams on new code releases • Provide assistance to application developers and product management on issues of application security • Maintain and enhance documentation Background: • Development background with expertise in security tools Must Haves: • Java / JavaScript development background – understanding Java code reviews is fine as well • OWASP • SAST • DAST • Hands on penetration testing • JWT Nice to Haves: • Burp Suite • ZAP Thanks & Regards, Naveen Sai - Technical Recruiter Thought wave Software and Solutions 314 N.
