About the role
Position Title: Breach & Attack Simulation Analyst Duration: 12 Months Work Location: REMOTE, Please provide a summary of the project/initiative that this candidate will be working on? Candidate will be helping to maintain and run simulation content in the core UHG environment. This includes updating content used in existing simulations, putting together new content or new simulations, executing tests, performing analysis against test results, and supporting the addition of new actors and integration points. Team Description: Working with our Breach and Attack Simulation team comprised of 4 analysts, 1 manager What does the ideal candidate background look like: Background in networking concepts and at least general information security. What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position (please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis)? • Think like an attacker, probe, and identify potential attack vectors • Demonstrate potential paths attackers might use against UHG environments • Maintain daily operations of the core environment • Analyze and research potential security gaps for remediation opportunities • Deliver technical analysis based on simulation results • Identify recurring problems and solutions to help scale and expand • Create, define, and update content used in simulations Required Skills/Attributes: 3+ years' of information security experience – required Experience querying for log data (e.g. SIEM and/or DB platforms) Familiarity with network components and concepts Familiarity with incident response case management Excellent verbal as well as written communication skills Security+, CISSP, or CEH - NTH Preferred Skills/Attributes: Experience utilizing Verodin/MSV or other Breach and Attack Simulation Tools Experience working in red team, pen testing, or application security roles Familiarity operating a Linux environment ******What experience will set candidates apart from one another?
