I don’t want to have to babysit anyone (LOL), strong security background, think critically on their own and apply good security thinking to any decisions that are made. • Technically savvy is a must • Soft skills are important – strong team player, independent, able to think for themselves is key. Ability to communicate with management and sometimes “dumb down terms” to work with others. Willing to help each other out, willing to be humble ie – no question is stupid, NOT arrogant. Business Overview: Team: • IT Security Engineering Purpose: • Help work on our SIEM/Qradar backlog Hours and Training: Hours: • 40/week Contract Duration: • ~9-11 months Location: WFH Position Overview: Daily Responsibilities/Job Description: • Security Engineering, Design, Documentation, Implementation, Integration of log sources into the SIEM • Work with various teams to create use cases used for Incident Response • Interaction level with Management/Team Members: • 20% of time will be collaborating with team members, project team, business partners. • 80% will be engineering/documentation Skills Overview: Qualifications/years of experience: • Security Engineering.
