About the role
About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive NOC Technician to join our Network Operations team. The ideal candidate will monitor, troubleshoot, and support network systems, ensuring maximum uptime and performance. This role is critical to maintaining our IT infrastructure and delivering exceptional service availability to customers. Key Responsibilities: Monitor network systems, servers, and applications using NOC tools and dashboards. Identify and troubleshoot network and system alerts, escalating issues when necessary. Perform first-level diagnosis and resolution for incidents and service requests. Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level engineers or vendors as per escalation procedures. Track, document, and update all incidents and service requests in the ticketing system. Perform routine network health checks, backups, and preventive maintenance. Coordinate with field engineers, ISPs, and internal teams to resolve connectivity or performance issues. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, ITIL, or equivalent. Experience in telecom, data center, or managed service provider (MSP) settings. Knowledge of automation or scripting (Python, PowerShell) for monitoring tasks.
